Featuring core members Paul Humphreys and Andy McCluskey, the Liverpudlian synth pop group Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark formed in the Jul 30, 2019 English electronic band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark formed in Wirral, Merseyside in 1978 by co-founders Andy McCluskey (vocals, bass Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, best known and loved as OMD, were formed in1978 by teenage friends Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys.
